Philadelphia Community Radio Round-Up!

You are cordially invited to take part in our Local Community Radio Round-Up!

 

As you all wrap up the FCC bureaucracy and prepare to take the airwaves in your community, we at Prometheus are working to build bridges between LPFM peers, equip you with the appropriate gear, and advance the ideas that will soon be propagating across Philadelphia's airwaves.

The Round-Up is a facilitated conversation between the future community radio stations of our region and will feature mini training sessions on topics including equipment operations, station governance, and programming. Please take note that workshop sessions will be divided into two simultaneous tracks (organizational and technical), so please bring an extra teammate to make the most of it!

Following the Round-Up (at 4 pm) will be a conversation with Professor Christina Dunbar-Hester on her new book, Low Power to the People, about the Prometheus Radio Project and LPFM! Snacks will be provided.
